Karryssa Fenderson, DVM
Before joining our team, Dr. Fenderson received her Bachelor's in Animal Science and Dance at Cornell University and later her DVM license from UC Davis. She has been working in the veterinary field since high school volunteering at animal shelters, small animal clinics, wildlife rehabilitation centers, and even did veterinary work with wildlife in South Africa. In addition to clinical medicine, she has also participated in research with rainbow trout as well as the the hearts of Great apes! Her primary interests now include internal medicine, cardiology, dermatology, and anatomic pathology. Before she could even pronounce “veterinarian,” Dr. Fenderson knew she wanted to be a voice for animals. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, cooking, and sifting through Yelp reviews for the best vegan food. You can also find her training for half marathons around the local roads and trails, or dancing at a local ballet studio. Her heart and home are currently occupied with a rabbit named Harley and a chocolate lab named Corduroy.
